Why Cornish Language Postcards?

In the words of Rob Reynolds, creator of Cornish Language Postcards...

"Cornish Language Postcards came as a fusion of two things I have a passion for.

Firstly, I have been a speaker of the Cornish Language for some years now and was proud to be barded by the Cornish Gorsedh for my contribution to Cornish Culture in 2011. Learning Cornish for me was not only a learning journey but a journey of discovery of my own culture and heritage. Speaking the language of ones own ancestors is important to knowing who you are and where you come from.

Secondly, I took up photography in 2016 as a way to relax and learn a new skill and quickly found my niche as a wildlife photographer. I love the opportunity to be outdoors and to document the beautiful wildlife we have in our world. Any opportunity to highlight our beautiful natural world is so sorely needed in these desperate times for our wildlife and  environment.

Bringing these things together to create something people can enjoy and learn from brings happiness and accomplishment. I love to see the joy people get from my photographic work and the opportunity to combine it with a little bit of Cornish education to help people learn is just a natural progression for me. When people learn they grow, education is a beautiful thing.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this site and supporting my work for Cornish."
